Know your Coach

Paul King is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He also holds NASM certification as a Nutrition Coach, Weight Loss Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist, and Bodybuilding Coach.  He has his Pro Bodybuilding card with the FMG federation and has achieved Pro Champion status in the Men's Fitness division.  He currently holds the rank of Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Nick Robison of Beltway Martial Arts.  Always lookings for a new challenge he continues to compete in both bodybuilding and Jiu Jitsu at the age of 43

Working with Paul has taken all of the guess work out of my weight loss journey. With all of the fad diets, misinformation online, and a million different ideas for working out properly, the waters were quite muddy. Paul simplified the entire process, customized it to my own unique situation and stayed by my side every step of the way to guide me.  Paul customized my program, both for working out and for nutrition. He has an app that help me stay accountable hour by hour. It lets me see a daily checklist of what specific workout I need to do, what cardio, and all of my macro goals. It also give me a quick avenue to communicate with Paul with questions or issues that arise during my day.I have struggled with weight gain after having 4 babies. I have tried and tried a million different things for two decades. Paul is the only reason I am having the success that I am having. He is patient and positive, all the while holding me to the standards and expectations that I set for myself. I had very low confidence in my fitness ability when I started the program. But Paul saw something in me that I didn't see in myself. He encouraged and pushed me— not too much, not too little, but with the exact amount of challenge I needed to believe in my own strength.  Beyond the workouts themselves, what made training with Paul truly special was his ability to connect with anyone. I am extremely satisfied with the variety in my personal program! Also enjoy how fun the exercises are. I actually look forward to going to the gym everyday! My biggest challenge was overcoming my own negative opinions on my own ability to get active. My experience has been enlightening. When we started with my program in June I was definitely living a sedentary lifestyle, and constantly depressed. Paul and I set realistic goals and over time I've seen substantial muscle growth physical strength and boosted energy levels. I barely recognize the person I was when we started. I hope to continue seeing amazing results working with Kings Fitness and eventually compete in my first bodybuilding show.   I would definitely recommend Kings Fitness to anyone I know that's looking to get active!
